Question

How do I tell Zapier to include any and all attachments in a forwarded email?

I created a zap to forward an email with a specific subject to a specific person each time it comes in (daily). But the email has attachments I also need to be forwarded and I cannot figure out how to tell Zapier how to include the attachment on the forward.

The Zap functions correctly on the search for a specific subject and the forward, but no attachments are included.

I am using Outlook.

Hi @FDLF

NOTE: You may be able to do the forwarding using a Rule in Outlook.

For us to have more info, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode.

Post screenshots of the DATA OUT from Outlook related to the attachments.

My boss is requesting that it be done in Zapier vs. using a rule in Outlook.

Here is the first step, the trigger, searching for an email with “S&P Short Range Oscillator” as the subject:

Second step: Action
Second step, sending the email. The test emails will successfully forward with the body intact. I am not sure what to put in the attachment field to tell Zapier to include any and all attachments.

I don’t know how to find the data out information. The attachments are always a pdf but they change every day.

For the Attachments field, you need to map the variable that represents a file object or a file url.
