I am looking to send an automated email to the invitees of a calendar event 5 weeks in advance of the event using an email template in Google Docs that has been created.

Hi @DAbell

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: GCal - Event Start
    1. Specify the time before/units
  2. Action: Gmail - Send Email
    1. You’ll need to create the email template in this step

The email template does not allow for branded images. I am also open to adding a PDF with our content. However, from GDrive it will not find the document no matter what I do.

@DAbell

You can use an email body in HTML format to include images.

Images must be publicly hosted.

If you will always be including the same PDF of a GDoc file then you won’t need a GDrive step.

Still does not work for your steps in the PDF. I can not find the doc. Gives an error. I will find an HTML Generator instead I think

@DAbell

For us to have context, we would need to see screenshots with all your steps are outlined and configured along with the encountered error.
