I would like to set up a workflow that is triggered anytime a specific Salesforce field is updated (regardless of the value). How do I go about doing this?

This is the set up I have so far:

Salesforce object: Account

Field: Segment

Field updated to: ???? (This is the part I’m unsure what to fill in as there is no specific value. I just need the trigger to happen every time it is updated).

I have 3 unique values in the “Segment” field. Should I keep the “field updated to” blank, and create 3 paths for the different values?

Hi there @sandiessi,

Welcome to the Community! 🎉

I did some digging into this, and it seems like selecting multiple fields in the “Field updated to” field is not supported at the moment. However, we have an existing feature request for the ability to select multiple values for the "Field Updated to" field so the Zap would trigger if the field was updated to any of the selected values.

I have added you as an interested member to the feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

Hopefully, this helps!
