My team and I are using Notion for project management, and I want to send emails via Zapier to the task owners when the due date is approaching. I tried using the 'Updated Database Item' trigger followed by a filter with the date. It worked during the test, but once I published it and ran it, it no longer works. Any ideas? Has anyone done something similar and could share it with me? Thanks so much!

Hi @Ine

Perhaps look into using native Notion automations to run to trigger a Zap:

Hi @Ine,

Welcome to the Community.

To set up a Notion to email Zap for upcoming task due dates, you must ensure that Notion's API supports task due date triggers, which it currently doesn't (as the API is in beta). Once supported, create a Zap by setting Notion as the trigger (for example, "task Due Date Approaching") and email by Zapier as the action. Map task details from Notion to the email fields, test the Zap and activate it to send automatic emails when due dates are approaching. For API capability updates, consider contacting Notion's support team.
