Hi everyone,

I’m a complete beginner with Zapier and could really use some help. I’m trying to set up an automation and here’s what I want to achieve: When someone fills out a registration form for a course, the information is stored in a Google Sheet. After that, two files are selected from Google Drive, and both should be sent via email through Zapier to the person who signed up.

The process is working smoothly in general, and the two PDF files are being sent as attachments. However, even though the total size of both files is less than 100 KB, they are being sent as a zipped folder. What I want instead is for each file to appear as an individual attachment in the email, not compressed into a zip file.

Does anyone know how I can fix this issue? I’d really appreciate any help!

Thanks in advance!

Hi @Dersim62

For us to have more info, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings.

Also, post a screenshot showing an email received by a recipient that shows the ZIP file for the attachments.

Hi @Dersim62 👋

Which email app are you using to send the attachments? You mentioned Googles Sheets and Google Drive so I’m guessing you’re using Gmail, is that correct?

We aren’t able to see into your Zaps so if you could also send some screenshots as Troy requested that would be super helpful in giving us some further context as to what might be causing the files to be zipped. Make sure to blur or remove all personal information (names, emails, addresses etc.) from screenshots before sharing, you can use a tool like Zappy for that.

Thanks, looking forward to your reply! 🙂
