Currently testing out Zapier for FORMS & Google Drive integration. We have an intake form for potential new customers and a few questions are answered along with pertinent documents uploaded.

From this form data we need to create a NEW google drive folder based off of example: First Name Last Name - Email address. I was able to create this google folder.

Next step is if there are any attachments we need those attachments saved to the newly created Google Drive folder.

Stuck on that step!

Hi @jbrucek,

Welcome to the Community.

Great job setting up your Zap to create a Google Drive folder from form data! Add a Google Drive "Upload File" action to save attachments in the right place. Select the attachment from the form submission, use "Custom Value" for the folder ID to ensure files go into the newly created folder and test your Zap. If you run into issues, let me know the details.

I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Thanks for the REPLY, I don’t see anything relevant coming over from my Zoho FORM to choose from even though we have 2 upload controls on the form. Also the amount of files attached would be random based on what our potential customer is supplying. I guess in that case if I were able to find the right data we would have to loop through it as well.

I switched FORMS and was able to find some attachment data but it really doesn’t make sense to me.

Hi @jbrucek,

Thanks for the screenshots. Could you please try mapping the “File Upload: 1031 Form file” data to the “File” field of Google Drive and test the Google Drive step?

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Thanks for the REPLY, I was able to map a SINGLE upload control with 1 file attached and my process worked correctly. We expect 1 file from this control so that process works fine. In our second upload control we allow multiple attachments so I believe there is a looping function in Zapier that I can process multiple files with. Can you direct me on how to accomplish that?

Also I had to start a PRO trial for my zap to publish and that works great.

Thank you!

Hi @jbrucek,

To handle multiple file attachments in Zapier, use the Looping function with Zapier Paths. First, set up your trigger (form submission), then use Formatter by Zapier to convert attachments into a list. Next, add Zapier Paths to loop through each file, processing them separately in your actions. Remember that Pro features require a paid plan after the trial ends.

I hope this helps. If you have any other questions or need further clarification, don't hesitate to ask.

Hey @jbrucek, just checking in—how did you get on setting up Looping to run through each file? Did Jammer’s reply here help to point you in the right direction?

Let us know if you still need any help! 🙂
