Hi Guys,

I am new to Zapier. I am trying to download a file from a url and save it with a specific name in my google drive. For some reason I cannot seem to find a straightforward way to do so.

Some of the URLs trigger a download like http://71.172.45.51/datav2 and some are to a file like http://inventory.jovani.com/wip.csv  , https://benjamin-walk.com/download/bwinventory.xlsx

In make.com I can use an http get a file trigger and save the files to my google drive. I cannot find the equivalent action in Zapier.

Thank You

Hey @ssonbol 👋 -

I’m not extremely well versed in using URL links to download in Zaps, but I’m going to drop some helpful links. Hopefully with the combination of the links, and other users/staff jumping in, we can get you all set up.

Hope you find this to be of some help!

Hi @ssonbol

Good question.

Help article about using files in Zaps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/send-files-in-zaps

You can use the GDrive Upload File action.
