How do I reply an email to an existing email thread in Microsoft Outlook?

Hi there - can I be added to? 

Is there a workaround solution? I’ve tried it with Gmail and it works fine but not Outlook, which is really frustrating.

Microsoft Outlook doesn’t have an action to create a draft reply on an email thread. However, we have an existing feature request for this exact functionality.

I have added your vote to the open feature request. That does a few things:

  • Bring this to the attention of the integration developers
  • Help track interest in this feature being implemented
  • Allows us to notify you via email if this feature becomes available in the future

While I don't have an ETA on when this feature might be implemented, we will notify you via email if it is!

Ok thanks.

I’ve used the Microsoft Outlook API as a workaround - it’s not as user-friendly but it seems to be working.

I followed the learnings in here:
