Question

How do I pass information to Stripe from Squarespace?

Currently, when customers purchase products from my Squarespace site, the only information that is passed on in the description field in Stripe is their email address.  Is there a way to pass information about the purchase itself (i.e. what product was ordered) to Stripe using Zapier?  My accountant wants to know!

Hi @kemarshall 

Yes, it’s possible to send more data to Stripe, but it may involve using the Stripe API, which is an advanced approach via one of these Zap actions:

  • Custom Action
  • API Request
