How do I modify the capitalize rule in Zapier Formatter for specific cases in names?

I’m sending lead information from Podio to a Google sheet that is shared with our clients, so I want to make sure everything the client sees on the sheet is properly formatted and professional. I’m using the Formatter to capitalize the first letter of each word in the “Name” field, but I’m running into a problem when there is an attached prefix for the last name such as “Mc” like McKnight or “De” like DeSalle. I have the reverse issue when the prefix is separate and it needs to stay lower case, such as “van” in van Gogh or “de la” in de la Mare.

I know these kinds of names are already tricky, but is there a way to modify the capitalize rule for specific cases?

Hi @PIData

Property capitalizing names can be tricky due to the types of examples you outlined.

The logic for each case would have to be defined.

One option may be to use AI to do the formatting.
