Question

How do I mark created events in Office 365 as private by default?

I use Google Workspace personally and Microsoft Office 365 at work. I would like to have Zapier create events in my Office 365 calendar when new events are added to my (personal) Google Calendar and have those Office 365 events’ sensitivity field set to private by default. I am not able to find a way currently to set the sensitivity setting in Office 365. Could that be an enhancement, or is there a way to do that currently?

Hi @Jason Guinn,

I tried recreating your Zap, and the sensitivity fields are set to “normal” as default. Upon further investigation with Microsoft Office 365, that sensitivity field can be changed through the app itself, and it only applies to specific Office 365 accounts with an E3 or E5 license assigned.

Here is the link for the guide: Apply sensitivity labels to your files and email

Let us know if that addresses your issue. We’ll monitor this issue since it may also be a potential feature request for Microsoft Office 365.
Thanks.
