I have set up conversion tracking for a new website in Google Ads. Triggers when a form submission is completed.

 

I am using Zapier to try and link to Pardot. 

 

Am I right in using the trigger - (New Lead Form Entry)

 

Then the trigger (Add Prospect To List) - I am not familiar with Pardot, but do I need to create a list and in Pardot called Google Ads for example.

You likely need to first find/create the Prospect before adding the Prospect to a List in Pardot.

If you need more help, post screenshots showing how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode so we can see the field mappings.

Hey - not neccesarily - I need to attach a lead form extension in order to proceed. 

 

Our lead form is on the website - not as a lead form extension in Google Ads. 

 

How do I sync without having a lead form extension on Google Ads?

Before we dig deeper into this, have you tried using the “Send Offline Conversion” action in Google Ads? You can follow the guide from Google here: https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9837650
