  • How do I limit Slack notifications to one-time alerts for specific labels in Linear using Zapier?

Hi, 

I have created a zap connecting Linear and slack. I want the zap to notify the channel when a specific label is added to an issue but then I don’t want any further notifications when updates are made to that issue with the tag. 

Currently, it is notifying the slack channel any time there is a new update on any issue with that label. How do I stop that from happening so that it just notifies one time?

You would need to log that an issue notification was already processed in a lookup table to check against and then filter by in the Zap.
