https://zapier.com/editor/211085389 This article does not solve the problem: 1/ the trigger will not add items from Feedly BOARDS, just Feedly Feeds. 2/ Creating the RSS item doesnt work either, loading the board url into doesnt technically work.
Hi there
Welcome to the Community!
Just to ensure that I understand what you're trying to accomplish, could you share a bit more about your goal with this Zap? If you can describe it in a "When A happens in Service X, B should happen in Service Y" style, it'll be super helpful.
Thanks!
When I enter a feedly board url into Zapier’s Convert Feedly board to RSS Zap ie https://zapier.com/editor/211085389 it returns “invalid stream id”, it should provide an RSS Feed.
https://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed%2Fhttps%3A%2F%2Ffeedly.com%2Ff%2FNU6JSN4Tzolm228LmOPDssox I wanting to convert this url to RSS, however when I Test this Zap it gives Error code: Error while retrieving: The app returned "invalid stream id"
Hi
Thanks for the clarification.
You mentioned “Feedly Boards”, have you tried using the “New Article in Board in Feedly” trigger?
Here’s the Zap setup:
- Trigger: Feedly - New Article in Board
- Action: RSS by Zapier - Create Item in Feed
Could you please give that a try? Also, could you please send over a screenshot of how your Zap is currently configured? I’m particularly interested in the “App & event” section of your trigger.
Thanks!
I've tried searching for “New Article in Board in Feedly” .. and found nothing sorry, do you have a link?
Here's images from my existing zap.. the link is the one I put above
Ok I tried again and found my boards listed in New Article in Board in Feedly
I picked one of the boards, added it, and got a similar error code:
(By the way, YES, the boards are set to public viewing)
Unable to pull articles
Error code: Error while retrieving: The app returned "missing streamId key".
Hi there
Thanks for the update.
The issue might be the pasted URL in the “Source” field. You must select the choices presented in that dropdown field, if the “Source” is not present in that dropdown field you can use the Source ID. If you are using the “New Article in Board” you can use the Board ID. Here’s an example.
- If I want to use this Board and it’s not showing in the “Board” dropdown field:

- Copy and paste the Board ID from the URL bar. Here’s an example of Board ID:

- Paste the Board ID to the “Board” field as a custom value. Like so:

- Test the trigger.

If the trigger isn’t loading a new sample data. I’d suggest adding a new article on your selected Board, and click the “Find new records” button to load the newest sample data. Like so:
Could you please give that a try, and let me know how it goes?
Hmmmm thanks .. my feed board link doesn't look much like that. When I click on the share link I get this https://feedly.com/i/subscription/feed%2Fhttps%3A%2F%2Ffeedly.com%2Ff%2FFgESETvFHRjqb9nzqhPZ5LoS
Ok... I think I got it
It loaded the RSS data
But I can't get past this. I can't edit the zapier link or the space. I can edit the Feedly link.
No matter what I do I cannot create whatever valid value it wants. What does it want me to do here?
OK I think Im getting there with this, its a case of tinkering around. We shall call it solved.. THANK YOU!
