How do I get Zapier to trigger a zap based on a keyword or tag entered into a contact created in Redtail CRM?  I need to use a specific keyword or tag to start an automated SMS text flow when a new contact is entered and they sign up for a specific seminar they plan to attend.  Thanks!

Hi @Cgleeson

Which Redtail CRM Zap trigger are you trying to use?

See options here: https://zapier.com/apps/redtailcrm/integrations#triggers-and-actions

If you need to filter data from the Zap trigger step, then add a Filter as Step 2: https://zapier.com/apps/filter/help

I was using Contact Created as the trigger from Redtail.  However, the data fields that Zapier shows to start the process does not list keywords or tags as an option. To test the zap, I resorted to indicating the Redtail contact Source data field to get it to work. This is not really the option I want but for testing purposes I tried it out. So… after that I added the Filter step, where I indicated that the Source field must contain the specific term that was chosen.   This worked to start the SMS automation but this is not the way I want to set this up.  I need Zapier to start the Zap based on a very specific keyword or tag. Is there a way to add this field as an option to pull from a new contact added?  Appreciate any advice… thanks!

@Cgleeson

You may have to try reaching out to Redtail Support for possible guidance about the capabilities of their Zap app integration.
