How do I get my zaps to run more often? I’ve got this Gmail to Spreadsheet set up but I need to it more often. THe delay is too long and I’m worried that the person is deleting emails by the time it comes to the Spreadsheet.

Hi there, @MendyEz! Thanks for reaching out to the Community. I understand how important it is to have your Zap run as quickly as possible, especially when working with sensitive data like emails. Let me share some insights and steps to improve the frequency of your Zap runs.

Why the Delay?

By default, Zapier plans have different polling intervals:

Free Plan: Zaps check for new data every 15 minutes.

Starter/Professional Plans and Above: Zaps check as frequently as every 2 minute depending on your plan.

This polling interval determines how often Zapier looks for new emails in Gmail to trigger your Zap.

How to Run Zaps More Often

1. Upgrade Your Plan: If you’re on the Free plan, consider upgrading to a higher-tier plan. On paid plans, Zaps can run every 1-15 minutes depending on the tier.

2. Refine Your Gmail Trigger:

• Ensure your Gmail trigger is as specific as possible to avoid unnecessary polling delays. For example:

  1.  Use labels or filters in Gmail to narrow down the scope of emails Zapier is searching for.
  2.  Create a Gmail filter that automatically labels emails you want the Zap to process, and configure the Zap to trigger only on that label.

Let me know if you’d like more details or need help setting up any of the above! 😊
