Hello!

When someone fills out a form on SquareSpace and types "yes" to be added to our mailing list, I would like them to be added as a subscriber on MailChimp. I have typed this into zapier and used a filter that only triggers when people type “yes,” but for some reason the subscribers are not showing up in MailChimp. Anyone else have this problem?

Hi @Learn Music

For us to have more info, post screenshots with how your Zap steps are outlined and configured in EDIT mode.

Subscribers won't show up in list immediately if you have double opt-in

If your MailChimp list has double opt-in enabled, you won't see any subscribers added by your zap until after that new subscriber clicks through the double opt-in email. However, your task history will show a successful task immediately, even if the subscriber does not confirm the double opt-in email.

Hello again @Troy Tessalone! Thanks for replying. Below are the screenshots. I included the filter and the mailchimp side of things. The first step seems to be ok. Also, I don’t have double opt-in turned on.

Make sure to test with real data.

It may be that Mailchimp is detecting the dummy data.

Try turning the Zap ON and testing live.

Then check your Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step to help you troubleshoot:

@Troy Tessalone Thank you! I’ve tried live testing several times, but the zap never runs. I’ve checked to see if anything pops up in MailChimp, and it does not.

From experience helping clients configure Zaps that trigger from Squarespace Forms it can be a bit tricky to get it configured correctly to work.
