Hello

I am looking to buildout a Zapier Chatbot AI conversation which I have working when I use it through the public URL provided by Zapier.

Now I want the conversation to go back and forth via Text instead of the Zapier Chatbot public URL.

I can’t seem to get this to work.

The basic Workflow is as follows.

Step 1

Have a list of Customer Leads in a Zapier Table with Name and Phone Number.  Push send text button in one column to start the text conversation.

Step 2

Clicksend SMS software sends out an initial message to each contact on the list.

Step 3

Once the recipient responds it interacts with the AI Chatbot built in Zapier. Sends back the response through clicksend SMS.

Repeats back and forth using Zapier AI Chatbot + Clicksend SMS.

Can you please show me how to make this work properly?

Thank you

Doug

Hi @Doug23

Zapier Chatbot Zap app integrations triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/zapier-chatbots/integrations#triggers-and-actions

At this time, I’m not aware of an approach to use Zapier Chatbot indirectly via an API or Zap actions.

hi @Doug23 I’m looking to set up the same thing but for Twilio instead of ClickSend. I’m finding that I can get the first message automated by using the Zapier chatbot, but am not able to sustain a conversation with a user and the chatbot once the first message is sent.

I’m exploring if it’s possible to break this interaction up into two zaps and join the conversation together with a unique ID like phone number.

Would love to know if you make any progress on this topic and if I can get this working I’ll pass along details. Thanks!
