Hello!

I have a Shopify store that sells Floor Plan Conversions. The product “Floor Plan Conversions” is a custom product with multiple custom options and 2 customer file uploads. Generally, a customer would upload a file (picture or illustration) for conversion into a architectural floor plan and also upload their logo to put their brand the document.

I currently have my Zap set up to create a new Asana task to fulfill the custom order (it includes all the options and links to the uploaded files). So far, it works perfectly when only a single order of the “Floor Plan Conversions” is purchased.

But what happens when a customer wants to order multiple “Floor Plan Conversions” at once, in a single order? How do I make the Zap create multiple tasks for each “Floor Plan Conversion”

Hi @Line and Trace

Depends on what you mean by “multiple”.

Do you mean multiple items in a Shopify Order OR do you mean a single item with multiple quantity?

For iterating, you can use the Looping app. (e.g. Looping - Create Loop from Line Items)

Thank you @Troy Tessalone, I appreciate your time and expertise.

In this scenario, “multiple” refers to a single item (the “Floor Plan Conversion” custom product) with multiple quantity.

Your looping suggestion looks promising. I’ll dig into it and start testing it.

@Line and Trace

If you are basing it on the Line Item Qty, then you probably want to use this Zap action: Looping - Create Loop from Numbers

Hi @Line and Trace! 👋

How did you get on with the Looping action Troy suggested—did it solve things here?

Keep us posted on how it went, happy to help out if you got stuck at all 🙂
