Question

How do I create a Zap that reads an Excel file from Google Drive and creates a Flokzu instance based on the data?

Hello, I need to build a zap that detects when I upload a file to a specific drive folder, read all the rows of this document (Excel) and based on that data create an instance in Flokzu. I’m able to detect a new file and I’m able to create a Flokzu’s instance but I’m not able to connect both

Thanks in advance

Hi @MetaModelo

Which drive app are you using for the trigger step?

For us to have full context, post screenshots with how the steps are outlined and configured.

Hi, we are using app Google Drive, event “New file in folder”. The file we need to read is an Excel spreadsheet loaded into drive

@SoporteMetaModelo

If the GSheet is in a CSV format, then you can use Files by Zapier actions to get the rows:

If you need to process each row, then use the Looping app: https://zapier.com/apps/looping/help
