How do I create a Zap that populates a new project with a set folder structure in Frame.io?

Hi

So I wanted to automate the process of making a new project in Frame. I have a set folder structure that needs to be added as soon as a new project is created. The folder structure has multiple sub folders within it.

I’ve tried making zaps that manually creates each folder individually, but with 20+ steps required to do this it feels a bit inefficient & slow.

Is there a way to do this in one step? For example I’ve got this folder structure in a template project. Could Zapier copy the folder from that project?

Hi @CannonBall

You would probably need to explore using the Frame.io API to determine if it’s possible to do in 1 step.

If yes, then try one of these advanced approaches via Frame.io Zap app actions:

  • Custom Action
  • API Request
