How do I correctly set up a Zap to upload a completed Pandadoc document as a PDF file to OneDrive?

Hi,

I’m trying to create a Zap to upload a completed document in Pandadoc as a PDF to OneDrive. I’ve set the File as PDF (Exists but not shown) but then when it uploads to OneDrive it’s not a PDF file. Any ideas?

Hi @EltonC

Help link about using files in Zaps: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/send-files-in-zaps

For the File field, the mapped variable is a PDF temp file object that expires after 1 hour.

Try testing the PandaDoc Zap trigger step again to get a fresh temp file object to test with.

Thanks Troy. I tried it and still no luck, although I did try this with Google Drive using the same File field and it worked fine, so not sure if it’s just a OneDrive issue.

@EltonC

Try turning the Zap ON and testing live.

Then check the Zap Runs history details to see the DATA IN/OUT for each step.

Thanks Troy. I left the File Name field blank and it works, so I’ll just play around with that field but at least it goes into OneDrive correctly.
