Question

How do I convert a PDF to an e-sign document using a Zap?

Hi,

I’m trying to find a way for a zap to receive a PDF document URL and then turn that PDF into an esign document either by defining where the signature field should appear on the PDF document or by applying a template to the PDF.

Although the base PDF document (received from a URL) will change in each zap, the location of the signature field will stay the same.

Welcome any idea/suggestions. I’m happy to use any type of app.

Thanks

James

Hi there, @jamesforpm 👋

I know Docusign has an envelope feature which is essentially a “wrapper” for a document (or several documents) which is used to send a file(s) to be signed by the recipient. You can find out more about this here: https://support.docusign.com/s/articles/000045001

So you could potentially use Docusign’s Send Envelope Using Document action to send different types of PDF files to be signed.

Hope that helps to get you pointed in the right direction. If I’ve misunderstood or you run into any trouble on that do let us know!
