How do I connect to a MailerLite account using Google authentication when the option isn't available?

I’m trying to connect to my MailerLite account.  I’ve connected with most of my accounts there with no problem.

Unfortunately, one of them uses google authentication.

When I try to connect, it redirects me to https://dashboard.mailerlite.com .. which does NOT have the option to login using Google (or Microsoft).  Only a username and password.

How do I get around this?

Hi @MikeKnapp 👋

I did some checking and found an open feature request for the ability to connect to MailerLite accounts that have Google SSO (Single Sign-On) enabled. So I’ve added your vote to that. We can’t say for sure when this might be implemented by, but we’ll definitely send you an email notification once it is.

I couldn’t find any documentation online for how to disable Google SSO for a MailerLite account so, as Troy said, you may need to reach out to MailerLite’s Support team directly for help.

Alternatively, is it possible to add another user to that MailerLite account that doesn’t connect via Google SSO? If so, you could potentially create another MailerLite user under a different email address that you own and add that connect that account to the Zap instead. Would that be a possibility?

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Hi @MikeKnapp

You can try disabling Google Login in MailerLite, then try connecting MailerLite to Zapier, then connect Google Login to MailerLite.

@MikeKnapp

You may need to try working with MailerLite Support for help with their app login.
