Can someone please help me connect my Namecheap web email account.  I can not figure out how to connect Zapier to Namecheap?

Hi @srjdukes

For us to have more info, post screenshots with what Zap steps you are trying to configure in EDIT mode.

Troy,
Thank you for reading my inquiry.  To be honest I don’t know where to begin.  I was able to connect my google email very easily.  I don’t know where to begin to connect my professional email address from Namecheap.  That email is housed on their server.  I know it has something to do with  IMAP servers and ports, but that’s it.  Soooooo, help please

Yeah, I just received this error message (see below), and I have no idea on where to even look to fix.  I don’t see any type of permission popup of any sort. This is so frustrating for me.  Ugh!

We hit an error adding your new account

authentication failed: lErrno -2] Name or service not known

  1. Make sure you click "Allow" or "Accept" on the permission popup
  2. Double check your Account has the correct permissions
  3. Check out our help docs for more information

Hi there @srjdukes,

I’m jumping in to see if I can help!

Could you please try connecting your Namecheap email account using SMTP by Zapier instead? Please follow the instructions here on how to connect SMTP by Zapier: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496305915917-Send-emails-in-Zaps#h_01HNZM5F5PHVSKKG0XRY3AHV49

Kindly give it a try and let me know how it goes? I'll keep an eye out for your response!

Hey there Ken,

Thanks for providing the article.  I have tired what you have provided, now I don’t seem to have access to the SMPT by Zapier.  Please see the attachment.  This is so puzzling and a bit frustrating at the same time.

Hi there @srjdukes,

You can only use SMTP by Zapier as an action step and there are no available triggers for that app. Could you please try using SMTP by Zapier as an action step?

I'll be keeping an eye out for your response!
