Question

How do I configure Zapier to send email notifications only once every 30 minutes after editing Dropbox documents?

I have a Zap setup to where it will send an email notification when documents are edited in Dropbox. However, it sent multiple emails while I was still in the document editing it.

How do I set it to only send an email if a notification hasn’t been sent in the past 30 minutes?

Hi @seangunner

You would have to log the sent emails, then check against that log in the Zap to determine whether the Zap should filter or continue.

Is there a way to do that via Zapier? I am using Outlook.

@seangunner

You can use the concept of a lookup table:

Compare timestamps: Formatter > Date & Time > Compare Dates

Use system timestamps: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496275717261#iso-8601-timestamps-0-1
