I would like to schedule my zaps to run Monday thru Friday 8am to 4pm and Saturday from 9am to 4 pm. I am not sure about how to set this up. If triggers happen after those hours do they just fail or they fire during the set time

For cases where the Zap triggers outside of the desired date and time you could have it delay itself from continuing until the next desired day/time period is reached. We have a couple of guides that cover different ways to delay Zap actions to run during certain hours only:
