I am trying to automate ticket statuses between Linear and Zendesk.

I’ve already linked my accounts and everything is working great as far as creating tickets in Linear when tickets are created in Zendesk. I have custom statuses in both Linear and Zendesk. What I’d like to happen is when a ticket changes statuses in Linear, to change to that same custom status in Zendesk. 

 

Any help on this topic is greatly appreciated!

Try these Zap steps:

  1. Trigger: Linear - Updated Issue
  2. Action: Formatter > Utilities > Lookup Table
    1. Use to translate the Statuses
  3. Action: Zendesk - Update Ticket

@chanelle @Troy Tessalone I was actually able to accomplish this within Zendesk alone by setting up a trigger that contained a specific text string. Thanks guys!
