Can Zapier create an automation that automatically turns on Google Meet (from Google Workspace) transcription for all calls scheduled through Calendly?

That may involve using the GMeets API: https://developers.google.com/meet/reference

Using app APIs in Zaps is an advanced approach.

Doesn’t look like there’s currently an action available for the Google Meets app that would allow you to turn on transcription for those calls so it would be worth reaching out to our our Support team to submit a new feature request for that to be added. You can do that here: https://zapier.com/app/get-help. That’ll flag the need for that functionality to the team so they can look into adding it. 🙂

How did you get on with the approaches outlined in the guide Troy shared? Were you able to make a request to Google Meet’s API and get that transcription option enabled?
