How do I automatically copy, publish, and embed a Google Sheets using Zapier?

I will have zapier copy a source sheet to a new destination in my google drive.

After the copy, the manual process would be to click file, then share, then “publish to web”, then embed, then copy the resulting embed code.

I need to be able to do all those steps in zapier to obtain that embed code and write it to a field in another platform (tbd).

Anyone have any idea how to do this? I do not see any relevant actions within the google sheets app in zapier.

Hi @Redwolf Sports Media,

Welcome to the Community.

Unfortunately, Zapier doesn't offer a direct action to "Publish to Web" or generate an embed code for Google Sheets. Workarounds include using Zapier Webhooks to interact with the Google Sheets API or Code by Zapier (Python/JavaScript) to script the process. If full automation isn't possible, a hybrid workflow combining manual publishing and Zapier triggers can also be used.

Here is a guide on how to use Webhook by Zapier: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496083355661-How-to-get-started-with-Webhooks-by-Zapier

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.
