How do I automate the download of Jira Cloud backup in Zapier?

I am trying to download a copy of Jira Cloud backup. attached in the picture is the interface i am looking into where i am trying to find a way to automate the download of cloud backup.

If possible, that would likely involve using the Jira API.

Hey there,
I just stumbled upon this post and its quite old but as we are an application developer who specializes backing up Jira Cloud, I thought that I’d drop you some info.

Firstly, to answer your question, I’d imagine to get access to your Jira Backup data from the cloud you’d need to use the Rest API, so here is an article that I dug up from the Atlassian community which addresses this:

However, the manaual backups in Jira have a couple of crucial limitations, being…
1.  You can’t schedule them.
2.  You can only run them every 2 days, you can’t take a daily backup.
