Question

How do I automate SMS alerts for contract key dates from Airtable or Google Sheets?

Hi everyone!

I’m a lawyer - and I would really like to automate zaps / SMSs -for key events in contracts.

i.e SMS when the contract starts. SMS 30 days before the end of the contract etc.

Does anyone have any suggestions / tips on how I can do this?

Ideally I would have an Airtable with the “key dates” - and an SMS send specific to each date.

However - the only path I can see at the moment is putting an event for each trigger in a google calendar - and sending the same “zap” per event.

Ideally I would like it to be bespoke (i.e. “contract starts tomorrow”) - and picked-up from an Airtable/ google sheet.

Does anyone have any ideas for a novice like me?

Thanks a lot!

Christian

Hi @ChristianAyerst

Good question.

Yes, you can use Airtable.

Airtable has Views, which are segments of data. (e.g. sort, filter, group, etc.)

Airtable Views can be used to trigger Zaps.

Airtable has Automations.

Airtable has a native integration with Twilio that can be used in Airtable Automations.

Twilio requires registering a phone number to be used for SMS.
