  • How do I automate shift coverage texts to available staff and handle confirmation texts for the first respondent?

Hi,

 

I am trying to think through a problem and am lost. I wanted to build a solution for when a staff member calls out, sending an automated text to everyone who has signed up to cover a shift when available AND then send a confirmation to the first employee to respond YES to covering and a text to everyone else who replies YES after the first employee…

 

I have a form that triggers the text, but not sure how to complete the second part...thoughts?

Hi @PCC 

Which apps are you trying to use in the automations?

Capabilities are determined by the apps being used.

 

You may want to configure some sort of logic where a form is filled for them to claim the shift.

Then that would send out another SMS to the list of recipients indicating it has been claimed.
