Subject: Questions About Automating Instagram and LinkedIn Posts

Dear Zapier Support Team,

I hope you’re doing well! I have a few questions about automating social media posts using Zapier, and I’d really appreciate your guidance.

  1. Is it possible to post an Instagram Reel (video) directly through Zapier? If so, could you please let me know how to set this up?
  2. I’d also like to automate Instagram posts with images. Could you guide me on how to achieve this seamlessly?
  3. As an additional question: Is it possible to automate a LinkedIn post with a picture? I wasn’t sure if this feature is supported, but if it is, I’d love to know how to make it work.

Thank you so much for your help—I’m really excited to explore these possibilities with Zapier!

i read this.. its crazy that in 2025 i cant use  google drive files.. insane

We sincerely apologize but Zapier currently does not support automating Instagram Reels due to API limitations, but it does allow scheduling Instagram posts with images using the "Create a Photo Post" action in the Instagram for Business integration. Your account must be a business profile linked to a Facebook Page. Similarly, LinkedIn posts with images can be automated using the "Share an article" action, which includes a link, title, description, and image.

i know that. but HOW do i put in a picture in the linkedIn “share an article” ????

In order to add a picture when using the "Share an Article" action on LinkedIn via Zapier, select LinkedIn as the app and "Share an Article" as the event. In the "Customize Article" section, enter details like the title, URL, description, and a publicly accessible Image URL. After completing the fields, test your Zap to ensure it works correctly.
