Question

How do I automate data translation from a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet into Asana using Zapier?

Good Day, I am currently on a trial with Zapier and I am trying to establish if buying this APP will be worth our while. Essentially, it’s main function would be to transport the data from an excel spread sheet and translate it into communication onto Asana.

We use excel to run a manufacturing company by creating our schedule on it. It is quite complicated where different colors mean different things.

Then we use Asana to communicate the schedule to the factory.

Currently, we manually update Asana with every change and by reconning the schedule to Asana daily, which takes up a lot of time.

If there is anyone who has used Zappier for a similar  outcome or a Zapier professional that could assist me, I would be super grateful.

Hi @Tylah Lambert

That really depends on the logic of the workflows you are trying to configure.

Available Zap app triggers/actions:

Asana: https://zapier.com/apps/asana/integrations#triggers-and-actions

Excel: https://zapier.com/apps/excel/integrations#triggers-and-actions
