Question

How do I add ActiveCampaign updates to a specific row without overwriting existing data?

I get often updates from Activecampaign and I want to put that specific data into a specific row but not overwrite the existing ones I have. So the only way to do that is if Zapier could insert another column and add that data into that column with the matching row. Hope this makes sense and somebody can help.

Hi @Marvin0302

That logic would involve a series of steps.

Add column

Find row

Update row

GSheet Zap app triggers/actions: https://zapier.com/apps/google-sheets/integrations#triggers-and-actions

With what you said, I think I am on the right direction but the problem is on the update row step, how do I map the specific data into the new column that Step “add column” created?

@Marvin0302

You may have to explore a advanced approach using the GSheets API via one of these actions.
