Question

How do I access the 'templateId' option in Brevo for transactional emails via Zapier?

Hello everyone, I’m trying to use the Zapier integration with Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) to send a transactional email, but I’m unable to access the templateId option. Instead, I can only choose between HTML or plain text. According to the Brevo API specifications, the templateId should be available for the 'Send a Transactional Email' action. Any advice on resolving this issue would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hey there! It sounds like there might be an issue with the Zapier integration for Brevo not exposing all the options that the API supports. This could be due to a limitation in the current Zapier-Brevo integration setup or a recent API update that hasn’t been reflected in Zapier yet.

A good first step would be to check if there are any updates or patches available for the Zapier app that might address this discrepancy. If nothing turns up there, reaching out to Zapier’s support team could help clarify whether this is a known issue and if there’s a timeline for a fix. Sometimes, these platforms need a little nudge to sync up with the latest API changes. Hope that helps, and you get your email templates running smoothly soon!

Hi @Philip.L,

I agree with @busrentaldubai6, Kindly check for updates on the Brevo integration in Zapier, reconnect the account. As a workaround, you can use HTML or plain text options to create emails in Zapier instead of using a Brevo template.

Let us know if this option helps you to jump-start your Zap.
