How can you get Zapier APIs extended to add missing functions provided by the target service?

I use Zapier with the API for Zoho Invoice. But the functions Zapier provides are a very limited subset of the Zoho API. How are these Zapier APIs maintained and how can you get Zapier APIs extended to add missing functions provided by the target service?

e.g. I need the missing “Create Estimate” function.

Apps are maintained by the App Maker not Zapier, so it’s on the App maker to extend the endpoints available for triggers/actions/searches.

In the meantime, you can leverage the Webhook app to make API requests: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/integrations
