Hi,

is there a way to select attributes in a MailUp zap?

I tried to send Facebook and Google leads data as subscriber in a specific MailUp list but nor a name or a last name could be select in action trigger settings. There is only email field e nothing else but a lot of other attributes are important for marketing purpose, like name, industry e so on.

I suppose that a way is possible and I’m here to ask your help,

Thanks

Hi @mrDico

Good question.

You’ll need to make sure each lead source is configured to collect the desired data points.

Then make sure to test with an example that provides all those data points populated, so you can configure the mapping of variables between Zap steps.

Here’s a help article about how to change your trigger test data: https://zapier.com/help/create/basics/change-the-test-data-in-your-zap-trigger

Hi @Troy Tessalone,

thanks for you reply.

Unfortunately seems that Zapier do not support MailUp variables mapping.

In the next example you can see only the Email variable in the zap set up action.

Here another zap for sending lead data, this time for Sendinblue. There is mapping variables setup available now.

@mrDico

FYI: Most Zap app integrations are created an maintained by the app developers on the Zapier Platform (rather than by Zapier).

You’d likely have to explore using the MailUp API to map additional data points: https://help.mailup.com/display/mailupapi/Recipients

App APIs can be used in Zaps with the Webhooks app as an action step: https://zapier.com/apps/webhook/help

Hey there, @mrDico! Thanks for reaching out.

I can see you’ve had a chance to chat with our Support team, which is perfect. While we’re not able to open new feature requests here in the Community, my friends in Support would be happy to get that sorted for you. 🙂 Your feedback is super valuable and I’m sure the MailUp team would be eager to hear it!
