How can I set the Reporter in the JIRA Service Desk Create Request Action?

The Create Request action just marks the reporter as the account that we have connected to JIRA with, which is really unhelpful. We need to be able set the reporter as the email address from a previous step.

 

How can we configure the actual reporter?

I wanted to point ya in the direction of this thread:

The TLDR is this isn’t supported in the Jira integration at the moment. Since this app is owned and maintained by Jira the have shared a public facing feature request ya’ll can follow along with!

That said, I did go ahead and get your vote added! If and when this becomes available we’ll be sure to send an email notifying you. In an effort to keep everything streamlined, I’ll be closing this topic for comments but definitely feel free to subscribe to the above referenced Community post and/or the Jira suggestion.
