How can I keep original OneDrive file formats when uploading to MS Outlook?

I created a trigger to upload a file as an attachment to an email in outlook as soon as it is downloaded into a onedrive folder, when it uploads the file it changes it to a txt file on the outlook email. How do i keep it as the original file type i.e. a pdf or word doc?

Hey @Chuckademis30TGRC just wanted to check in again here! My guess for why this is happening would be because you might be either grabbing the name of the file instead of the file object itself or you are grabbing the file object, but the field you’re mapping it into may not be prepared to receive data in a file format.

Hi @Chuckademis30TGRC

Good question.

Please post screenshots with how your Zap step is configured in order for us to have more context.

Sounds like you may have the wrong OneDrive data point mapped to the Outlook attachment field.
