I want use the formatter by Zapier to extract something from the following text :

{"typedechauffage": "A"}, {"modedechauffage": "B"}, {"alimentation": "C"}

(A is variable and can change, B and C too).

I want to extract only B and insert B into a cell on my Google Sheet.

I know the the Find, Replace or Split Text functions are probably the best to do it. But I am not able to decide which one and what exactly to enter in each field of the choosen function

Can someone deliver to me the solution : which function and what exactly to input in each specific field?

Thank you,
Dan

Hi @Dan for SEO

  • Action: Formatter > Text > Split
    • Split by: {"modedechauffage": "
    • Keep the last segment
  • Action: Formatter > Text > Split
    • Split by: "}
    • Keep the first segment

When in doubt, test it out.
