Hi @IULMAN

AI via ChatGPT/OpenAI will be your most flexible option.

Action: Formatter > Text > Uppercase

Come on Mr. Obvious read the question there’s more to it than just capitalization.

Try AI as suggested.

Best would be to address the formatting by making the input list a standardized dropdown list on the form.

Yes that is the logical solution but unavailable in this instance. I understand that there is a way to access a list or sheet of data (the proper abbreviation) and have it used to replace a list of misspellings? However the syntax escapes me. That is what I seek here.

Try prompting AI to reference the input value against the list of values and return the derived value.

This is the right idea but I am a novice, can you specify the zap trigger and action (I think those are the terms). Any additional help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,  Peter

You would need to specify the app you are trying to use for the Zap trigger step.

List of available Zap triggers/actions:

ChatGPT: https://zapier.com/apps/chatgpt/integrations#triggers-and-actions

OpenAI: https://zapier.com/apps/openai/integrations#triggers-and-actions

It can take some testing and tweaking to get the AI prompt right for the desired output.

I guess I’m going to have to roll up my mental sleeves on this one. Thanks.
