Hi Everyone, 

 

I am looking for a solution for the following problem:

 

I need to automate a way in which I can send a WhatsApp message every time I post a new story on my Instagram Account. I post deals every day on my stories and would like my followers to see that I posted a new deal on WhatsApp with a link to said story (a preview of the story would be great too). I cannot post my affiliate links directly to WhatsApp as this violates the terms and conditions. So a way around it would be to link the Instagram story that contains said link.

 

I hope I explained myself good enough :D

 

I would appreciate any help on this.

WhatsApp Messenger has no Zap app integration.

WhatApp Notifications has a Zap app integration: https://zapier.com/apps/whatsapp-notifications/help

Unfortunately, it looks like your desired workflow is not possible at the moment since the WhatsApp Notifications app is used to send a message to yourself. With that said, I did a quick check on our integrations, and it looks like WhatsApp Messenger hasn't built an integration with us yet.

Most new Zapier integrations are built by the company or team that created the app, so I'd recommend you also encourage their team to add their app to Zapier via our developer platform: https://zapier.com/platform

Nevertheless, I've added your vote to our internal app wishlist, and we'll be sure to let you know if/when this app is added to Zapier.

@LOfertown it looks like you could do this with our integration.

  1. Get a trigger on “New Media Posted in My Account” with the Instagram integration.
  2. Choose to send a group media message or text message on 2Chat.

Hey there! Thank you for your excellent suggestion to our community. We're super excited about welcoming more members like you on board. It looks like the member is using a different messaging app, such as WhatsApp. Unfortunately, we're unable to integrate WhatsApp workflow with Zap now. For now, this is the best suggestion that we can recommend.
