How can I automate removing Google Group members directly from CRM using Zapier?

Hello!

 

I have seen the possibility of automating the CRM with Google Groups with respect to adding the members. Can anyone please help me the functionality of removing google group members directly from CRM?

Hi @Mohammed Elfhan, welcome to the Community! 👋 

I did some checking on this and there isn’t any action for removing a member for a Google Group. We’ve got an existing feature request for the ability to remove members from a group though which has been discussed before in Community here: 

I’ve added you to that feature request which will help to increase it’s priority though I won’t be able to give a timeline as to when that feature might be added to the Google Groups app. 

In the meantime maybe you could try using a Google Groups API Request (Beta) action to do it. It’s a bit more advanced as you’d need to reference Google’s API documentation to set up that action, but it seems like their members.delete endpoint might be the one you’d need to use to remove them from the group. If you’re interested in giving that a try I’d suggest also reading through our Set up an API request action guide for more details on how to set that type of action up.

I’ve not tested that workaround myself so if you give that a try and are able to get it working please let us know! 🙂
