If i have a google sheets with Column A full on Names and Column B their respective emails.

How do i set up zapier to have an automated scheduled monthly email that sends an email to everyone on the sheets individually (avoiding including everyones email and names in the same email)

Hi @Automation Newbie

Zap Steps

  1. Trigger: Schedule
  2. Action: GSheets - Lookup Rows
  3. Action: Looping - Create Loop from Line Items
    1. Map data from the GSheet step
  4. Action Gmail - Send Email
    1. Map data points from the Looping step for the recipients

If this is the data from Google Sheets, what steps do I need to select for this portion

What values should be used before moving onto Looping?

@Automation Newbie

GSheet needs headers in Row 1.

Thank you for pointing that out. How would I apply these changes in the the fields mentioned earlier?

@Automation Newbie

Add another column to the GSheet

Header: USE

Values:

  • YES
  • NO

Then you can use this as the Lookup Column (USE) and Lookup Value (YES) in the GSheet step.

Thank You! I tested the step and received this action

Is this the result I am meant to get? How would I proceed from here to filling out the Loop from line items step?

How can I change my loop by zapier to give out actual loop values instead of preview

Hi @Automation Newbie,

You will need to map the NAMES and EMAILS without the preview values. You’ll see those data once mapping the fields.

You can learn more about Looping by Zapier here: https://help.zapier.com/hc/en-us/articles/8496106701453-Loop-your-Zap-actions

Hopefully, this helps.
