Question

How can I add text in my email subjects with text from a database?

Hi, is there anyway to find and add text in incoming and/or outgoing email subjects with text from a database.  In this case, find a project number in the subject, query a database for a paired number, and insert that number into the subject line as well?

Hi @ossified65

Good question.

Please clarify what apps you are trying to use in your Zaps for us to have more context, thanks.

Hi, I’m not using any yet.  I could use Outlook or Gmail paired with Excel, Google books, or any G-Suite or Microsoft Office product.

@ossified65

You can’t alter an incoming email’s subject line.

You can alter an outgoing email’s subject line.

Can the outgoing email’s subject be automatically populated from a database or excel sheet?
