Hi Zapier Community,

I'm running into an issue with a Zap that connects LinkedIn Ads to Google Sheets, and I need help getting the correct date for each row of data.

The Problem:

I have set up my LinkedIn Ads report with daily granularity to track metrics like clicks, impressions, and cost per day. However, when the data is sent to Google Sheets via Zapier, the Date column always shows today's date (the date the Zap runs) instead of the correct date for each row.

What I've Tried:

  1. Time Granularity in LinkedIn Ads: I’ve set the report to daily granularity in LinkedIn Campaign Manager, and I can see that it’s returning daily data.
  2. Date Mapping in Zapier: In the Zap setup, I mapped the "Pretty Date" field from the dropdown options in Zapier. However, this only returns the current date (e.g., "Dec 11, 2024"), not the specific date from the LinkedIn report.

What I Need:

I want the Date column in Google Sheets to reflect the correct date for each row (e.g., Oct 1, Oct 2, etc.) as reported by LinkedIn, based on the daily granularity.

Questions:

  1. How can I ensure that Zapier pulls the correct date field from LinkedIn for each row of data?
  2. If LinkedIn doesn’t explicitly provide a date field in its report, is there a workaround to dynamically calculate dates for each row based on the campaign start date?

Any advice or solutions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you in advance!
