Gravity Form creating multiple entries on Google Sheet

Question

I have Wordpress Gravity form that has a multi-selection “dropdown” for one of it’s fields.

My Zapier is set up create a new row in a Google sheet when a form is submitted.

Currently, my Zap is creating individual rows for each of the selections from the dropdown under the same form name/job code. Instead, I want all these options to be entered into the SAME column on one row and separated by commas.

Hi @borncreative!

Based on your screenshots it appears that you’ve got line items coming from Gravity Forms and you’re using the Google Sheets action to create multiple rows:

In order to create a single row with the data in the format you want, you’ll have to use a Formatter step (Line Item to Text) then map the output of that step into a Google Sheets action that is just Create Spreadsheet Row ← without the s at the end, and that doesn’t support line items.
