I have an assistant that uses a separate Google email address from me.  I want to be able to have ALL of my contacts go from my Google Contacts to his as well as vice versa.  I’ve set up a ZAP to do so, but always get an error.

Error Message:

32 Google Contacts: Must specify a non-metadata contact field on the person.

When you see the {{placeholder}} that means the mapped variable had a blank value or is no longer a valid variable, hence the likely issue for the error.

 

Thank you.  I’m not trying to do a single two way ZAP, rather just two one way ZAPs.  Is it possible to ZAP from Google Contacts on one account to Google Contacts on another account?  I mean, I could use an intermediary account to aggregate them if it can’t do google to google.

You’d need to authenticate both GContacts accounts in Zapier here: https://zapier.com/app/connections

WARNING: Be mindful of creating an infinite loop where 1 Zap’s action is another Zap’s trigger, which has an action that would retrigger the other Zap.
